Bud and Kimberly Huffman
Bud, Kimberly, and Elisha Huffman are truly the heartbeat of everything Mattaw. Bud and Kimberly have been serving orphans in Kenya since 2006 and are truly the birth parents of the vision and dream that is now Mattaw Children’s Villages. Kimberly or “Momma Kim” as she is known among our children is truly at home as the co-director of Mattaw in Kenya. She is responsible for too many things to list including the daily spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of Mattaw Children. Bud is gifted with the spiritual gift of “kid magnet” and a short ride with him around the village is full of the chant, “BUD, BUD,BUD” from children everywhere. Among the incredible daily responsibilities of managing the orphanage, Bud also puts together our short term mission trips and oversees the meticulous construction of every piece of the village.
Our policy for Mattaw is that none of the funds raised for child sponsorship for Mattaw Children can be used for anything other than children’s needs. This mean that we raise all the funds for construction, training, and administration separately including the salaries of our missionaries. Bud and Kimberly are solely supported by sponsorships from individuals and churches, and they are a key piece in the Mattaw dream. If you would be interested in supporting the Huffman family financially on a monthly or yearly basis please fill out the form linked below.
