In 2010 we began to become more aware of the problem around the world for young girls that are being abused, trafficked and forced into extreme physical and sexual abuses. The statistics are alarming. In developing countries it is even more alarming. We heard the alarm go off loud and clear as cases became more than a statistic. They became girls that needed our help. Girls with names and faces. We were referred to two girls in 2012, ages 13 and 9, who were enduring some of the worst circumstances you can imagine. It was some of the worst injustices. We already had girls placed in Mattaw Children’s Village with similar backgrounds but not as extreme as these two. And through much prayer and direction from The Lord, Kimbilio house was started. We then soon found many more girls in the Kitale area needed a place of refuge. Most of our girls are placed with us through the government court of law. We are dreaming of expanding to be able to provide refuge for more, you can help by sponsoring a child or by giving to build a bigger home. If you can’t give now, you can share and be a voice. And most importantly, you can pray for each life to continued being healed and restored by the Father’s love he has for his girls.
